CrossFit Open 15.1 & 15.1A

Totaled 148 reps and a 225 Clean & Jerk (almost got 240).

Had a slight tear on ring finger on both hands. No enough to affect my grip too much, but definitely need to start taking better care of my calluses.

Olympic Total

185 Snatch
245 Clean & Jerk (3# PR)

185 Snatch was easy, so I jumped to 200 (2# PR) and barely missed it forward three times. Definitely going to get that weight soon.

Clean & Jerk felt great, barely missed clean at 250 and 255.


Heavy Squat

4 singles at 315

Missed one at 330

315 is not a lifetime PR, but it's the heaviest I've done since I've been back from the Caribbean

All in all, very happy with today's training.

Now to smash some Chipotle!

Experiment #1

Time to try something new.

This is my first attempt at a blog and have no idea what to expect, so let's see what happens!

I am a fitness and environment enthusiast. I love scuba diving and most animals. There will more than likely be many photos of my dog and cat posted on here. I love to travel as well, so hopefully I'll get some travel posts as well.

I think I will primarily use this as a workout log book and anything else I feel like.

I mostly do CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting.

I studied lemon sharks in the Caribbean for a year, which is where the Negaprion comes from (Negaprion brevirostris).

If anyone reads this and happens to follow the workouts, I appreciate any feedback.
